Ahead of the competition, Zara shared news about the Queen’s health, which caused concern among royal fans after Buckingham Palace announced on Thursday night that she would not leave her castle to attend the Thanksgiving service in London the next day.

Speaking about her majesty, her granddaughter said that she was “well”.

Zara said: “He will watch on TV – today there are several runners scattered all over the country, so he knows exactly what is happening.
