Lyssa explained that it became emotional for him ‘really, really hard to go back to Hawaii’, where he lived with his late fourth wife Beth Chapman.

Dog and Beth became famous together as bounty hunters on reality TV, enjoying a happy marriage that lasted more than a decade until her death from cancer in 2019.

Lyssa posted a wedding album on Instagram this Wednesday, writing: ‘Last week Lei and I boarded the boat at 7am with 7 of our closest family members and dedicated our love and life to each other.’

The album included a picture of brides in Daisy Dukes and bikinis t-shirts kissing in the ocean while strewn with rose petals.

Several shots of the silhouettes showed the newlyweds wading through the shallows together, radiating marital bliss.

‘Those were the most epic conditions in the bay, the water was a glass mirror. We had a bit of rain, (blessing) and when we got to our place, we were again blessed by a flock of shark cubs (up to do do do do), ”Lyssa revealed.

“With our feet in the water, we have connected with the strength and vastness of the ocean. We are embraced by the magnificent Ko’olau mountain range, which will embrace us as we live and spend the rest of our lives together in Makaalamiha. ‘

She added: ‘There, with Uncle David judging, we made our declarations of intent, made our vows and began living together OFFICIALLY as wife and wife.’

Lyssa made sure to thank Wesley Sargent, who runs a company specializing in Hawaiian getaways, and made sure the brides kept their plans a secret.

The wedding was ‘literally a dream day’, Lyssa snapped, expressing her joy that Leiana is ‘my fucking WOMAN !! I am so happy, blessed, filled with love and gratitude. ‘

She added: ‘I never thought I was worthy or capable of this kind of love. The vibration I’ve been feeling in my body hasn’t stopped since I met her, and if you’re reading this from a dark place, know that your happy start is somewhere. ‘

The blushing bride concluded: ‘There is much more to come. Thank you all for being here on our journey. I love you forever my wife. ‘

When they exchanged vows, Lyssa was dressed in a white wedding dress with a floral circle, while Leiana modeled a matching shirt with dark shorts.

The two guests at the intimate ceremony were Lyssa’s two daughters Abbie May (20) and Madalynn Grace (12).

Lyssa gave birth to Abbie the day after her 15th birthday, and her father – who was 24 at the time of conception – was arrested for legal rape.

Madalynn, meanwhile, shares with her ex-husband Brahman ‘Bo’ Galanti, with whom she was briefly married from 2009 to 2011.

Lyssa said I love my mom last year that she ran a shop window in Hawaii in 2016 when she met Leiana, who was one of her customers.

They were ‘immediately intrigued’ by the fact that they had the same date and year of birth, and shortly afterwards they discovered that they had ‘similar morals’ in each other.

Their romance blossomed over the next few months, and shortly after they first established a relationship, Lyssa realized that Leiana was ‘that’.

In late 2017, Leiana proposed to Lyssa during a trip to Seattle and the bounty hunter’s daughter agreed to marry her.

As early as last March, Lisa hinted that she and Lejana wanted to get married ‘in the ocean’ in swimsuits, although she declined to specify dates or details.

She resolutely defended her father last year when his daughter Bonnie and stepdaughter Cecily accused him of racism and homophobia.

As she talked to People about her wedding this week, she revealed that Dog supported her relationship with Leiana.

‘My dad always just loved me and we didn’t talk about it. I think it is really difficult for people who are Christians and who believe that marriage belongs to a man and a woman. But when your daughter falls in love with someone and you love that person, you can’t just say you don’t believe in it, ‘said Lyssa.

‘I don’t want to put words in his mouth because I don’t know what his exact feelings are about it, but he never showed me anything but support.’
