‘I had a hunch I was going to have a girl, but I was a little more insecure than with Roman. I only knew with him – I don’t know why, but even before we found out I said, “I know, one hundred percent, he’s a boy,” Lucy said.

The couple also revealed in an interview that they are struggling to come up with names for their daughter, explaining that they had a long list of 15 chosen ones, but to wait until she is born to make a decision,

Back in March, Lucy informed fans about her son Roman’s health condition, revealing that he had fluid in his lungs.

She previously said their little son spent a week in intensive care last September after Lucy found a two-year-old ‘blue in his crib’.

Although Lucy and Ryan were allowed to take him home a week after he was admitted, Roman has since gone for regular checkups, and the results have shown that fluid enters the child’s lungs whenever he drinks.

Admitting that it was a conclusion that made her feel ‘really weird’, she continued: “I’m sad about Roman. Now, as of Monday, when we take the thickener, it can’t have rare liquids for quite some time – potentially years.

‘So no lollipops and ice cream, no water or juices. Everything has to be really thick in consistency to prevent it from entering his lungs.

“But we have the answer. It may not be a complete picture, I don’t know yet because we haven’t seen his advisor, but it’s something. ‘

If too much fluid accumulates and presses on the lungs, it can be difficult for the lungs to expand completely. In some situations, some or all of the lungs will collapse.

She concluded: ‘It’s a step forward and it’s something we can deal with and that will hopefully prevent him from getting so sick. That is positive in a way, because we are a little closer to the answer. ‘

This is not the first time Lucy has given candid information about her health as Lucy broke down in tears last November while contemplating her son Roman’s terrifying stay in hospital.

Speaking of Fr. Sweat, sweat and tears podcast Lucy said, ‘I heard some grumbling at 3 in the morning and as I think we all do, if it doesn’t sound like it’s a big scream and they’re in pain, think,‘ Oh, well they just have a little sleep. ‘

She discovered that when she looked at the baby monitor an hour later that something was ‘wrong’:

‘He was moving very slowly, one on top of the other, and I thought,’ This is wrong and I want to see him. ‘

She then found Roman ‘blue in his crib’ and he was rushed to Basildon and St Mary’s Hospital in London.

Speaking of the staff, Lucy was emotional when she said: ‘They were absolutely wonderful and I have to thank them and the ambulance for arriving so quickly, for keeping my son and it’s actually quite emotional to talk about it.’

Her son was diagnosed with ‘virus-induced wheezing’ and now needs an inhaler twice a day.
