Ryan Reynolds talks about mistakes in parenting with ‘wild’ daughters
As the father of three young girls, Ryan Reynolds made at least a few parenting mistakes – especially when he came out of the pandemic, when schools were in “Zoom” mode and children were stuck at home. But as he said during a Cannes Lions panel titled “Creativity at the Pace of Culture” on Tuesday, June 21, his parenting “mistakes” often provide inspiration in a way that his “successes” do not. “I’m the parent of three girls. They’re wild. I think they get rabies sometimes,” joked Ryan, who shares daughters James (7), Inez (5) and Betty (2) with his wife. It is not interesting what you are doing at the moment, but what you are doing afterwards,” he said, according to Page Six. Hailey Bieber’s new Rhode skincare line has been hit by a trademark infringement lawsuit
Hailey Bieber has spent most of last month in promotional fashion for her new Rhode skincare line, but another “Rhode” brand is already using the long arm of the law in an attempt to stop Hailey’s venture. TMZ reports that the owners of the Rhode NYC fashion line have filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Hailey’s company, claiming that the brand they launched in 2013 – and which protected it – was mixed with Hailey’s cosmetics because of similarities between logos and names. Owners Purna Khatau and Phoebe Vickers also claim that Hailey had earlier, but to no avail, attempted to snatch the “RHODE” trademark they own. Citing Hailey’s fame and the fame of her husband, justin bieber, who recently promoted her new brand on her social media, Purna and Phoebe asked the judge to intervene and prevent Hailey from continuing to sell skin care products called Rhode. A source close to the model company, meanwhile, told TMZ that Rhode is the NYC owner’s trademark for clothing, while Hailey’s Rhode trademark – its middle name – is for skin care products.
