Rina Sawayama, Kim Kardashian and Charithra Chandran have warmed up their fashion game in this week’s review of looks.
It’s official: the days of safe styling are over. From changing underwear over leggings to cutting off legs with five pairs of jeans, this week’s review seems to prove that the limits of fashion must always be tested. With Kim Kardashian still exploring her distinctive silhouettes and Uglyworldwide revolutionizing the avant-garde, we certainly got a boost to shake up our fashion game – and with the start of the new season, there’s no better time to start.

Kim Kardashian proves that Marge Simpson could never
Loyal Kardashian Viewers will know that Kim Kardashian is currently going through a renaissance of personal style. And while comparisons to Homer Simpson’s wife may have boosted her self-esteem, she seems to have returned better than ever – channeling an old-fashioned Gothic look hacked from Dolce and Gabbana’s archives. Combining a velor bustier in a wine tone with a matching robe, she kept her classic all-in-one style with tights with a metallic effect and a dolcevita, which spreads imperceptibly in finger gloves and heeled boots. Watch out, Kravis, Kim is coming for your vampire bag.
Uglyworldwide makes quadruple denim
In the words of Justin Timberlake, “what goes around comes back” – just like the artist’s short-lived affinity for double Texas looks. Reviving the style with a personalized twist, Uglyworldwide released another stunning look on the ‘gram’ – and it was all about the bottoms. Leaning the cropped jeans on top of each other, the Wonderland cover star creates a layered maxi skirt – complementing the look with a baby t-shirt with a graphic print and a baseball cap.
Dua Lipa serves Western Bridgerton ‘fit
In addition to his obsession with old English declarations of love, Bridgerton he also provided us with fashion trends – namely, a corset. And although it never adheres to the passing trend, Dua Lipa serves its own interpretation of it: it combines a lace-up corset with cropped chap pants. Remaining neutral in the color palette, it contrasts the ivory material with the dark brown suede – which also appears in the inserts of her socks. Reducing its usual unusual liquid instead of some simple gold gems, Dua catapults Victorian aesthetics into modern times.

Speaking of Fr. Bridgerton, we had to include this hefty favor from Charithra Chandran – which has proven to be a triple threat when it comes to the art of evening cocktail dressing. Although it looks simple at first glance, the unaccented details of her pastel yellow dress create a timeless as well as elegant look. Deciding on an asymmetrical construction, the fabric at the end of the slit of the dress slowly returns to its opposite side, while the chunky chain intertwines with the fabric on her shoulder.

And, as if she didn’t give enough statements, this Ahluwalia piece was shown in her scrolling – a coordinating shirt and a mini dress with printed graphic portraits. Blocking emerald green with ruby red, the look was tied with a cascading red ribbon – a complete encapsulation of unique patchwork techniques of the designer label to create completely unique pieces.
Rina Sawayama dresses for the devil
To complete this week’s review, Rina Sawayama presents us with this burlesque and cowgirl as she celebrates the release of “This Hell”. From a white hat with crystal star accents to her chain-link leotard, Rina shone from every angle. And, creating a guillotine with diamond fringes as an improvised skirt, she also shows how to show a little cheek without devoting herself to a completely bare lower part. Finally, choosing a pair of black and white cowboy boots, Rina danced until late into the night – and made us dance during the week with a big dose of fresh fashion inspo.
