Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Prince Nicholas, seven years old, visit the Sculeberget National Park

Swedish Princess Madeleine showed off her fun side as she spent some quality time with her son in the national park.

Madeleine, 40, who lives in Miami with her American husband Chris O’Neill and their three children, began the summer vacation in her homeland.

The Swedish royal family has set aside some time in its busy schedule for special moments with their son Prince Nicolas (7) and wife in Skuleberget National Park.

A mother of three let her hair down while she and Nicholas took part in activities at Discovery Park, where they went down a slide, took part in arts and crafts classes and took a walk in the park.

For her day, Madeleine chose white ankle-length jeans and pink and a white T-shirt to wear under a pink cardigan.

She complemented the look with a pink salmon jacket and white sneakers.

A busy mother of three wore her honey blonde hair down in wavy strands. She also wore sunglasses for a busy day.

Madeleine wore her trademark bronze makeup, with only a little blush and bare lips.

Meanwhile, Prince Nicholas looked relaxed in a plaid white-and-blue jacket and jeans.

The couple seemed to be enjoying themselves while Nicolas got his mother to go to the playground with him.

A mother of three let her inner child free herself as she slid down the slide with her son, before attending arts and crafts classes.

Afterwards, Madeleine, Nicolas and Chris O’Neill jumped on the cable car along the mountains to have a better view of the park.

From there, they set out on a tour of the park with County Governor Berit Hogman.

The mother of three, who returned to her homeland last week, has been living in the United States since she married financier Chris in 2013.

The couple has three children, Princess Leonor, eight, Prince Nicolas and Princess Adrienne, who is four years old.

While her older siblings, Princess Victoria (44) and Prince Carl Philip (43), are members of the royal family who still live in Sweden and are very close to the crown, Madeleine lives a peaceful life abroad.

However, she is still the royal patron of several Swedish charities and is dedicated to helping their work.
