Prince Harry ‘desperately seeks approval’ because he was called to ‘stop giving interviews’ Royal | News

Royal expert Russell Myers called on the Duke of Sussex to “stop giving interviews” until he fixes up with his older brother, Prince William, and fixes their “strained” relationship.

Mr Myers said the brother’s relationship was “strained to the extreme” as he discussed ongoing tensions between the two princes.

Speaking on Australian TV, the royal editor of the Daily Mirror said: “We saw at the platinum jubilee celebrations, that, unfortunately, they didn’t hang out at all.”

He said he attended a service at St. Paul’s Cathedral where he noticed Prince Harry “straining his neck” to try to catch William’s eye, without any luck.

Mr Myers said: “They didn’t spend time at all during those four days, but I think Prince Harry has to stop giving interviews to American television networks before the two brothers almost sit down and come back in top condition, and I guess that’s not going to happen soon. “

The Sussex returned to the UK to celebrate the Queen’s platinum jubilee in early June.

Despite not playing a major role in the four-day royal affair, the couple was present at the Thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Harry and Meghan sat just a few feet from the firm’s busy members, including William and Kate.

According to Mr. Myers, Harry showed a sign that he was “desperate for his brother’s approval.”

The host, Karl Stefanović, answered: “I didn’t understand that it probably came from the exclusion of William, and not Harry.

“I think we all assumed, given the bad press around Meghan and Harry, that it’s always like they’re cheating people, but actually, Harry is asking for approval from his brother, but his brother is closing the door.”

In response, Mr Myers said he believed Harry “still longs to belong to his family”.

He said: “When he is still giving interviews, in a way, rejecting them from time to time, for him, unfortunately, at this moment it is a very, very long way back.
