Billie Eilish he is willing to do whatever it takes to have a little privacy, even for just one day. Singer “Happier Than Ever” revealed during her performance on Tuesday (June 21st) on Apple Music 1 The Matt Wilkinson Show that she used one of her reserve dancers as bait while attending Coachella this year.
Speaking about her body double, Eilish told Wilkinson, “At Coachella, I actually did it because at the beginning of Coachella, I had a body double, one of my dancers who was one of my dancers to perform. I dressed her in the show look I had worn before. We got a black wig and we put a bun in it and we gave her a mask and sunglasses and she wore my shoes and my socks. ”

The 20-year-old added: “I placed her at the end of the stage and she stood there while the lights came on and everyone thought it was me. And no one ever knew it wasn’t me, literally no one knew. And while she was upstairs, I wore a big black coat and a traffic vest, a hood and just glasses. ”
The singer also talked about surprising her fans with a new – and yet to be officially released – track “TV”, during her concert at the AO Arena in Manchester, England, on June 7. As it turned out, Eilish came across a version of the song while she was late during the summer and realized that she wanted to incorporate it into her live show.
“I just listened to the songs I wrote and I never did anything with them like everything in my phone, voice memos and the like. I found a couple of songs and thought about these songs we wrote. And I was like, ‘Wow, I really love these songs,’ Eilish explained. “I just had the idea, ‘What if we just revive them?’ Finneas and I haven’t recorded an unreleased, unrecorded song live since… [“When the Party’s Over”] “This is really a moment in time.”
Although the seven-time Grammy Award winner is happy to be a successful performer, she lacks the ease of being able to release a single in an instant, which also inspired her to play “TV” during her performance in Manchester.
“We write music and I want it to come out without the need to prepare and create a whole, as if I have been promoting something for months and months. I just wish I could play music like I used to. I think the bigger you are, the harder it seems to you, ”she added. “So I kind of was like, ‘I just want to go back to my roots and be the lyricist the way I am and the way Finneas is, and I sing the song we just wrote and I play it whenever it’s over.'”
