Meghan Markle i Prince Harry will not attend the last day of the event for Queen ElizabethPlatinum Jubilee.

A platinum jubilee election is being held on Sunday to celebrate the historic 70th anniversary of the monarch’s reign. A list of expected attendees from the royal family has been published, which does not include the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who traveled to Great Britain from their home in California for a long weekend of ceremonies.

On Friday, the royal family continued the celebration of the platinum jubilee with a Thanksgiving service in honor of Queen Elizabeth in the Cathedral of St. Paul. Thursday, Meghan and Harry joined extended members of the royal family for Trooping the Color. As they are no longer older members of the royal family, they are not invited to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace or to take part in a procession of carriages during the parade. Instead, they watched the event along with other extended members of the royal family from the Office of the Major General, which overlooks the Horse Guards Parade.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles, and his brother, Prince William, took part in the horse parade before heading to the balcony to watch the Royal Air Force’s flights. Kate and Camilla, however, spent a short time in the Major General’s Office watching a horse guard parade before riding in a carriage to Buckingham Palace to join the Queen and other senior members of the royal family on the balcony.
