Margot Robbie i Ryan Gosling were first filmed during the filming of the action film Barbie in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The Australian actress, 31, looked plastically fantastic as she transformed into the title role, while Hollywood heartthrob Ryan hid her platinum blonde hair under a cowboy hat as seen on the set of a film directed by Greta Gerwig.

Last week, Photos of Ryan as Ken’s first appearance have been published but some fans thought he was “too old” to be Barbie’s counterpart at 41.

As filming began, the actor completely looked away from his usual attire as he put on cowboy boots, a matching hat and a wacky shirt with eye-catching white embellishments.

Meanwhile, Margot looked perfect as the Mattel character also wore a cowboy hat paired with a Barbie pink vest and baggy pants that came complete with glittery gems.

Both actors wore pink handkerchiefs and chatted lively in front of the cameras.

The film is directed by Little Women Greta Gerwig, 38.

She was also on the set and looked perfectly in tune with the pink theme while wearing an attractive fuchsia suit.

The details of the eagerly awaited film are mostly secret, but there are rumors that there will be more Ken and Barbie.

One Barbie is said to have played Issa Rae, while the other could be Harry Nef, who starred in Sex and the City’s And Just Like That.

Meanwhile, at least two other actors are said to be playing Ken.

New York Times reporter Kyle Buchanan tweeted, “I hear the amazing BARBIE goss in Cannes. First, I hear that Ryan Gosling isn’t the only Ken in the BARBIE movie. Simu Liu and Ncuti Gatwa also play Ken.”

Other cast members include Will Ferrell, Kate McKinnon, America Ferrerra and Emma Mackey,

Fans think that Emma from sex education may be playing Barbie’s sister Skipper because of the actress’ resemblance to Margot.

Irish actress Saoirse Ronan and pop star Dua Lipa have also been linked to the film, but have not been confirmed.

A source told The Sun that the Don’t Start Now star impressed Hollywood big wigs with her role in Argylle and has now signed a blockbuster.

Although details of the film’s plot are still scarce, a synopsis on IMDB says, “A doll living in‘ Barbieland ’was kicked out because it wasn’t perfect enough and embarking on a real-world adventure. A feature film based on the popular Barbie toy line. ”

The film is produced by Margot’s production company Lucky Chap Entertainment.

Speaking about her role as a cult puppet, the actress said that fans should expect the unexpected when it comes to watching the story on the big screen.

She told the British Vogue : “[The role] comes with a lot of luggage and a lot of nostalgic connections. But it comes with many exciting ways to attack.

“People mostly hear ‘Barbie’ and think, ‘I know what this movie is going to be,’ and then they hear Greta Gerwig write and direct it, and they say, ‘Oh, well, maybe I don’t …’
