Tim Bailey dealt a classic blow to one or two TV presenters Lisa Wilkinson, this time throwing an ugly tirade about her infamous Logies speech.
The former Channel 10 meteorologist took to social media again, tweeting how he really feels about the project manager.
“Just accept your little F-ing trophy and F off!” he tweeted.
Then he said, “Good advice, isn’t it?”
It was the second time Bailey had hit his former colleague within 24 hours.
Bailey, who left the station in 2020, previously posted a sharp tweet telling Wilkinson to “Get your head inside”.
He continued: “I know that this could be difficult, because it is a very big head. But try. ”
Wilkinson has delayed the trial of Bruce Lehrmann, the man accused of raping Brittany Higgins, after she crossed the line in her speech while accepting Logie on Sunday for an interview with a former Liberal employee in January 2021.
ACT Supreme Court Justice Lucy McCallum said Wilkinson’s speech “completely erased” the line between charges and guilt for the alleged sexual assault in Parliament in Canberra on March 22, 2019.

On Thursday morning, defense attorney Steve Whybrow requested that the trial begin in early 2023, telling the ACT Supreme Court that the consequences of Wilkinson’s Logies speech will continue to affect the jury until 2022.
But Chief Justice Lucy McCallum said a three-month stay in this case would allow all concerns to be allayed.
“The three-month period is a significant period in which issues of prejudice fade in the minds of potential jurors,” she said.
Judge McAllum ordered the trial, which was scheduled to begin on June 27, for October 4.
It came when Wilkinson offered not to comment further on Mrs. Higgins or Mr. Lehrmann, evading a restraining order. The TV star also reportedly hired top lawyer Matthew Collins amid the aftermath of her Logies speech.
The president of the Australian Bar Association condemned Wilkinson on Sunrise on Channel 7 on Wednesday, saying she could be charged with contempt of court.

Ironically, in August 2021, Wilkinson begged “everyone to respect what is at stake here.”
“Appointing a man on social media and passing a verdict could have dire consequences for the outcome of any trial,” she wrote on Twitter.
Sydney Channel 10 news anchor Sandra Sully also expressed her feelings on the issue, liking a tweet from show business journalist Peter Ford who condemned Wilkinson’s speech.
“Such serious consequences from Lisa Wilkinson … only that she clung to stupid stories like the paparazzi who stalked her to Chapel St.,” he announced.

Channel 7 Sunrise host Natalie Barr also stabbed Wilkinson, saying she should have gone through her speech next to a lawyer.
‘You know, we have our lawyers. We often consult them before we publish the story, ”she said.
“Would that be the case when Channel 10 lawyers should have intervened and provided lawyers for this speech?”
