It would have been very difficult to overcome the mega explosion of love that followed Her Majesty when she appeared in the peak of the James Bond sketch with Daniel Craig for the 2012 Games, but she repeated it – brilliantly opening with Paddington Bear – a big favorite with the Queen and Princess Charlotte, which really started the whole party in the palace. Then, bang, the brilliant Brian May, Roger Taylor and Adam Lambert shook the ground with an explosive performance.

The royal family was together tonight with tens of thousands of fans at the glorious party at the Palace, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have disappeared.

This concert is the culmination of the third day of public events that are being celebrated 96-year-old monarch a record platinum jubilee with a record 22,000 people attending in front of Buckingham Palace.

Motown legend Diana Ross performed for the first time in Britain in 15 years. She was the main attraction at the event, which was held on a purpose-built 360-degree stage in front of the Queen’s residence in central London.

Among the royal attendees at Saturday’s jubilee live star concert, held in front of Buckingham Palace, were the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Plus, first time Princess Charlotte.

QUEEN ELIZABETH’S JUBILEE: WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT ‘PLATINUM PARTY IN PALACE’

Prince George looks grown up and posh, plus of course, with the cheeky look of being a bit awkward with his mom and dad in the entourage, which was fun to watch.

Prince Charles and Prince William took the stage in front of an audience of 22,000 to pay their respects to the Queen during the jubilee concert with the stars – proving that, whatever the media says, members of the royal family are more popular than ever – and this event really showed the mega success of the jubilee so far.

Other members of the royal family were the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn, Royal Princess and Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack.

The show was a fantastic series of stars and wonderful messages, but one of the biggest cheers of the evening arrived for former United States First Lady Michelle Obama who spoke so kindly about the monarch.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte, along with Kate and William, really enjoyed the singing element of the show and they looked so happy and really enjoyed such a wonderful prestigious event. What was interesting was that after a while Charlotte started to get a little tired and she looked at her mom who smiled and whispered something in her ear which delighted the child who was endlessly encouraged.

What about the big cheering stars for Rod Stewart? He is a mega royal favorite of William who dedicated Rod’s hit “You’re in my Heart” at his wedding to Kate.

Ross shone like a real star giving the audience what they wanted, and that was her mega series of hits and how they played it.

British stars like Craig David told me, “I wasn’t this nervous. I don’t think I’ll ever be honest, but you want to do your best, don’t you, yes, I hope they sing together.” Rest assured, Craig, they are.

Chic star Nile Rogers told me backstage that “in terms of career, honestly Neil, this is the ultimate, there really is nothing bigger than what I’m doing right now.” It turned out that Chic was a favorite of the royal family because Catherine danced to the whole part of Neil’s hits.

Duran Duran, a favorite of the late Princess Diana, no doubt hit William as the band told me backstage that her loud support for the band at the beginning of their careers really brought huge success thanks to her strength as a star in the US and “we were always so grateful for but we know she loved our music which was just a thrill. “

Harry Potter actor Stephen Fry was bombarded with his anti-government joke and it proved very embarrassing when he looked at the Royal Box who were in chat mode with Prime Minister Boris Johnson so there was no time to attack him on stage in worldwide audience. As one guest told me, “he talks about mental health and depression, and then bullies the prime minister on stage.”

The big hit of the concert was without a doubt the American singing legend Diana Ross.

Diana, who took to the stage in an amazing black and white tulle dress at Buckingham Palace to mark the Queen’s platinum jubilee for her first UK appearance in 15 years, caused a huge storm and the audience went wild, I mean really wild including Catherine who is clearly a fan after all we’ve noticed is her singing along to all the hits including the number one “Chain Reaction”.

Another legend on camera was Sound of Music star Julie Andrews who famously got her royal vacation back in 1948 at Royal Command show singing for Queen George’s father, the national anthem, and which we know Her Majesty really enjoyed after all. whether he sat there in a box as well. Dolly Parton received a huge welcome, and the country diva was especially touched by Prince Charles who is a big fan of Dolly.

Who was the real star of the show? She must be the queen – simply and simply nothing could surpass the introductory sketch, and at the age of 96 she never fails to surprise. Seeing the delight on Princess Charlotte’s face when she saw the Queen with Paddington on the big screen was magical and how this will remain a lasting memory for both her and Prince George.

It was a royal history in creation right there at Buckingham Palace and I am thrilled to be able to share my memories with you of this once-in-a-lifetime event.

Finally, this was a rehearsal event for Prince William, addressing audiences and huge audiences around the world must have been daunting. He would have previously addressed his younger brother Harry for support, but while Prince William spoke kindly and sincerely, I was told that the person who most wanted to impress his father was Prince Charles who wiped away a tear while his son spoke.

Catherine shines along with George who looks at his father in awe. I wonder what Prince George really thinks of all this at such a young age, Prince William will one day be our king and he has made us and the world proud.
