Countdown is on for season 19 from The Bachelorette – and fans are finally getting answers on how Gabby Windey i Rachel Recchia a joint journey will succeed.

Ex-bachelor Nick Viall he shared the insight he had heard about the production during a recent episode his podcast “Viall Files”.

“I heard it would be very different. And it will have a Paradise feel, ”the 41-year-old presenter said, referring to Bachelor in Paradise spinoff. “It’s on a cruise ship – part of it. I asked people because it sounds like the producers think it’s going to be really interesting, but very different. ”

ABC has previously stated that Gabby, 31, and Rachel, 26, will not be “conflicting against each other” as the lead roles, which Nick confirmed.

“[But] if she fails, it’s as if, say, Gabby was like, feeling it with ‘Frank’. ‘Frank’ could be like, ‘Rachel, okay?’ He explained. “There are a few similar options, right? And as far as Paradise is concerned, what makes it different is that people have options. ”

When the group fell into the water, according to Nick, it wasn’t exactly smooth behind the scenes.

“They said it was hell to film because they decided to go for the girls girls, like, last seconds. So the schedule was for one girl girl. “They had to push it all in,” he said. And then I asked, I’m like, ‘What if it goes really well, like, this is a hit?’ … The people I talk to hope they will never do it again. Just for logistics. I think the cruise ship was probably a challenge. ”

He went on to share how he thinks girls who date the same men will work. “My understanding is early, they will largely divide men, like, everyone will basically [have] their season, ”Nick said. It would be like two friends going to a bar and just deciding after the first night – or going to a party and being like, ‘Who do you love?’ And they simply decide. I think they’re really trying to keep the two women from opposing each other. “

After appearing on Clayton Echard‘s season of The Bachelorette, the host Jesse Palmer announced in After Final Rose in March that Gabby and Rachel would both have a chance at love.

“I am just happy for her. I really did! ” Rachel at the time. “It’s crazy. This is crazy and I’m excited to embark on this journey with you. We did it together once. We went through the craziest experience together.”

Gabby added, “I’m a girl to the end, so a friend next to me is the best thing I can ask for.”

The Bachelorette rreturns to ABC on Monday, July 11, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
