‘The jury brought my life back’ full statement by Johnny Depp after the defamation victory

Six years ago, my life changed forever, the lives of my children, the lives of those closest to me, as well as the lives of people who have supported and believed in me for many, many years.

All in the blink of an eye.

False, very serious and criminal charges were filed against me through the media, which caused an endless barrage of hate content, although I was never charged. He has already traveled around the world twice within nanoseconds and has had a seismic impact on my life and my career.

And six years later, the jury brought my life back. I’m really humble.

My decision to continue with this case, knowing very well the height of the legal obstacles I will face and the inevitable, global spectacle in my life, was made only after much deliberation.

From the very beginning, the goal of initiating this case was to reveal the truth, regardless of the outcome. Speaking the truth is something I owed to my children and to all those who remained steadfast to me. I feel at peace knowing that I have finally achieved this.

I am overwhelmed, and I was overwhelmed, with an outpouring of love and colossal support and kindness from all over the world. I hope that my desire to tell the truth will help others, men or women, who have found themselves in my situation, and that those who support them will never give up. I also hope that the position will now return to innocence until proven guilty, both in the courts and in the media.

I want to pay tribute to the noble work of the judge, juror, court staff and sheriff who sacrificed their time to get to this point, as well as my hardworking and unwavering legal team who have done an outstanding job helping me share the truth.

The best is yet to come and a new chapter has finally begun.

The truth never disappears.

The truth never disappears.
