The Isles of Love star (26) and Molly (28) – who met in the sixth season of reality show ITV2 – now live together in a house in Manchester with their two dogs.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Callum retaliated against people who condemned them, revealing that they had ‘proved a few people wrong’ after recently celebrating their two-year anniversary.

He said, ‘We are perfect. We have two dogs, so we have a real small family, it’s wonderful

‘There are other things we want to focus on at the moment, but obviously in the future it’s definitely something we both want together. We just didn’t really decide when

‘We’re just enjoying the things we have right now, and then family and marriage will eventually come into play.’

Callum explained that viewers of the show about meetings judge the islanders, but see only a part of each day: ‘People can judge from an external perspective. Apparently they don’t see 24 Hours of Love Islands, they only see 60 minutes so people can obviously judge, but we’re still together

‘That was the main thing I went there for, so yeah, I’d say we proved a few people wrong.’

Looking back on his experience, he said: ‘I didn’t think I would get a girlfriend and we would live together. I was really open-minded and what I really wanted was to find someone

‘Obviously it’s not 100% when you get in there that you’ll get it, but we were lucky and we’re still here.’

But it wasn’t always smooth for the couple, because their friendship caused confusion in the ITV2 show.

Callum entered the show as one of the original contestants in the first episode of the series, and initially teamed up with Shaughn Phillips.

The couple expanded their relationship and continued to flourish until the infamous Casa Amor appeared – which led to Molly’s arrival in the series.

Callum said, ‘People can judge from an external perspective. Apparently they don't see 24 Hours of Love Islands, they only see 60 minutes so people can obviously judge, but we're still together '

Molly and Callum agreed when they met, and he decided to go back to the villa with her – leaving Shaughn devastated because she was left to fly alone.

She was later kicked out of the villa when Luke Mabot teamed up with Demi Jones in her place – while Molly and Callum arrived a few days before the finale, before being thrown out by their islanders.

Speaking about his experience after leaving the villa, he said: ‘I got a lot of abuse from the situation with Shaughn, but it will always happen anyway, but other than that I didn’t really get much.’

Callum – which was a scaffold before the show – is now full of influence with 785,000 followers.

He used social media platforms to show off his cooking skills and said: ‘This is something I’ve been doing for years, like even on my Love Island VT in 2019, I think it was filmed, I said my favorite thing to do is cook so it’s not like a new thing

‘I feel like I’m posting a lot more about my hobbies and what I actually enjoy, instead of posting just for that now

‘I just feel like it’s not very organic if you’re photographing things you don’t want, because cooking is something I really enjoy.’

Callum revealed that Molly had only cooked for him a few times and said, ‘There’s only one chef in our house and that’s me.’

He went on to express his frustration after watching the current series of Islands of Love: ‘This is quite embarrassing because in a recent series I saw that everyone has a smoothie and makes their own food.

‘When we were there, we didn’t really have anything. We only made breakfast and it was very limited, I think we only made eggs. ‘

‘Still, I told Molly last night, I really like this series. Just because they changed something a little bit in the beginning, it’s really mixed up.

‘My favorites so far, for guys I love Jacques, Lucu and Davide – he has some brilliant lines.’

Callum’s advice for new contestants is: ‘Be your own. That’s all you really can do. Because if you’re not your own and you try to play games, you’ll just get caught. ‘
