Emily Ratajkowski proves that this fashion failure can actually look really with style

Emily Ratajkowski was our constant muse this summer – she adorned first Cannes in an exquisite black lace cami dress by Miu Miu and debuted in a wondrous moment with fringe, and then the model gave us a lesson on how to shake up the most unconventional clothing trend of the season during a holiday in Italy.

The 31-year-old model took a break from styling the boxers of Broderie Anglaise, and yesterday she appeared on JW AndersonYesterday’s SS / 23 fashion show at Milan Fashion Week.

Emily was photographed on the eve of the show wearing a color palette that a fashion lover would normally be startled by. She paired the black dress with brown boots. Once considered a controversial or fashion failure, the model dropped the rulebook when it comes to her style ensemble.

The combination of black and brown did not upset Emily at all – in fact, she looked seriously chic in an asymmetrical midi dress with open shoulders with fold-shaped details and some yellow knee-high boots that had an exaggerated outer edge.

The model is equipped with JW Anderson’s ‘Bumper Moon’ shoulder bag

The model finished her look with an elegant tan and white shoulder bag, in the style of JW Anderson’s Bumper Moon, and wore a simple makeup look. Emily’s distinctive brown eyes were closely aligned at both the top and bottom, giving her eye makeup a touch of precision. She opted for the classic look of fluttering eyebrows and wore neutral lips.

The actual JW Anderson show Emily attended showed an eclectic mix of primary colors and oversized accessories. Torn denim and anorak-style outerwear, along with cargo shorts and asymmetrical lines around the neck, will be great next summer.
