Explosive scenes erupted on Celebrity Apprentice, and Darren McMullen erupted on Lord Sugar, angrily telling him, “I don’t have to be here.”
Fiery scenes took place at the Celebrity Apprentice, and one of this year’s contestants clashed with Lord Alan Sugar and caused a dramatic storm.
During a showdown in the meeting room on Monday night, Darren McMullen gasped as he debated why he should progress to the show’s grand finale.
“I was in the hospital and all I could think about was, ‘No, I don’t want to let down this charity,'” the actor and TV presenter said, referring to his recent absence, shown at the beginning of the episode. It was later explained that doctors believe he may have had a small heart attack.
However, Lord Sugar was not very sympathetic.
“I don’t want to hear about your hospital anymore,” he told McMullen.
“What about the fact that my damn dog is dying, and I’m here doing a task for you?” he retorted angrily, reminding Lord Sugar of his dog’s recent diagnosis of cancer.
“It’s like I’m here, I’m dedicated to this show… You think I don’t have a job, Sugar? I have so much to do, if you want to fire me, get rid of me – I don’t have to be here. I’m here for my charity… Man, I gave everything, heart and soul, to be here. ”
Lord Sugar retorted, “Don’t call me man,” before rushing out of the meeting room, describing the outburst as “ridiculous.”
Outside, he asked the producers, “Do you think Darren’s tirade of abuse against me is personally acceptable?”
After being persuaded to return to the room, Lord Sugar criticized McMullen for his “fiery temperament.”
“I think you’re a little disrespectful to me and I don’t like that,” he told him.
However, despite a firefight, he was rescued from the cutting block, and instead Amy Shark and Ronnie Caceres were given orders to march.
McMullen and former NRL star Benji Marshall will now face off in the grand final.
This is not the first time McMullen has been involved in the blast Celebrity Apprentice.
Earlier in the season, he lost it to model Jarrod Scott after their group challenge went awry.
The challenge was to set up and run a food delivery service, and there have been quarrels within the men’s team from the start.
When Scott made the call to stop taking orders and close the kitchen early, a Gordon Ramsay-style kitchen ensued.
“What happened? It was an argument,” said an unimpressed McMullen, entering the kitchen after delivering orders.
Scott then asked the actor to explain what he meant.
“Comrade, listen, everything was late, everything was cold. You talked about the big game. You said, “I fucking have this, I have experience in catering, you were fucking last week, Darren,” and I said, “Okay, buddy,” and I supported you, “McMullen said.
“Someone on our team will probably go home now.”
Scott, remaining calm, replied, “If that’s the case, that’s fine, but„ “
“No, it’s not really okay,” McMullen snapped. “Why is that good?” I don’t want any of these guys to leave. “
“If you allow me to explain, if you listen to the project manager and let me explain something to you,” Scott continued.
“Dude, you were [doing] nothing but talking and talking to other people to shut up, ”McMullen said.
