Louise Thompson she bravely portrayed the reality of her ongoing struggle for mental health after the birth of her son Leo in December.

Former Made In Chelsea star, 32, has documented her journey with postpartum depression on her own Instagram the bill of recent months after complications in childbirth meant she had two very close brushes with death.

Since then, the former reality TV star has been incredibly honest about the constant struggles she faces every day, and in her latest series of Instagram stories, Louise admitted to going through a ‘catastrophic breakdown’ on Tuesday – one so severe that is her desire to ‘die’.

Louise explained that her day started at a high level and that she felt calm and content spending quality time with her partner Ryan Libbey and their six-month-old baby Leo.

A mother of one child took her adorable son for a swim and then went to visit her best childhood friend and former Made In Chelsea star, Rosie Fortescue who gifted her with a beautiful silver ring.

Louise explained that although she had many things she could be thankful for in her life, she could still run at any time, leading to panic attacks and ‘breakdown’ – which just happened to her after a good day.

The Brave Star posted two pictures of herself sobbing on her Instagram stories as she shared the reality of the ‘pain’ and ‘suffering’ she suffers every day after the difficult birth of her son, which affected not only physically but also mentally.

“And then I experienced a complete catastrophic breakdown out of nowhere,” Louise wrote alongside the disturbing footage.

“It’s as if my brain thought I was dying again. I couldn’t think properly or function for 40 minutes. Absolutely petrified. I literally don’t think anything moved me.

“I had to separate because I don’t like lowering the mood for Ryan or others, and then I found some photos of myself as a child in the bedroom and started screaming ‘why did this have to happen to me’ – feeling so angry and sad about my innocent, vulnerable self. “

Louise continued, “Honestly, wtf it happens. My new antidepressant is pretty good for sleeping, so I take it in the evening and at least it helped me go to bed and reset to start today as a new day.

“But WOW, when I’m stuck in those moments, I want to die in a big way.”

The former reality star also posted another photo showing tears streaming down her face as she sobbed as she sat on her bedroom floor amid a harassing attack.

“Honestly, I have no words to explain the suffering. I just keep telling myself to keep going because the light is around the corner,” she wrote.

Louise has been widely praised for breaking the boundaries around mental health and postnatal depression since documenting her trip.
