At Left’s home, Sheila is angry: “So much for Finn who needs his medicine.” She steps on Lea’s cell phone and warns her that she made a big mistake.
In Brooken’s bedroom, she has headphones in her ears when Ridge shows up and startles her. He’s glad she locked the door. Brooke can’t believe Sheila hasn’t been caught yet. She asks what leads him to it. He just thought he would check on her. Brooke beams. Ridge is worried, knowing how Sheila feels about her. Brooke assumes she’s probably crossed half the country by now, but thanks him for taking care of her. Ridge grinned, “Always.” They wonder where Sheila is and who she will target next.
At Villa Forrester, Quinn admires Wyatt’s photographs of him and Flo on their way to work. He is confused that he returned yesterday and did not hear from her. She claims to be working at the borders, but he does not accept that. “What’s really going on, Mom?” Quinn admits, “It’s Carter. I’m worried about Carter. ” Wyatt is worried that the euphemism is “concerned”, but she assures him that she was loyal to Eric. Quinn declares that she and Carter are still friends and that he will make a mistake that will change his life forever. Wyatt is nervous because she has all these opinions about what Carter is doing and wonders why she’s not focused on her love life if she and Eric have problems. Quinn claims she wants the best for Carter, and marrying someone you don’t love is something you wouldn’t wish on anyone. Wyatt realizes it’s not think Carter is not in love with Paris … she he knows to. “Carter’s still in love with you, isn’t he?” Quinn swears nothing is happening. Wyatt claims they conceal their true feelings for each other. Quinn protests. Her commitment is to Eric. Wyatt wonders, “So Carter will just go out and find a similar commitment?” Quinn raises her hands. “Now you see why I’m so worried!” He can’t let Carter throw his life away … because of her.
In the design office, Carter asks Paris to be his wife. “Let’s do this.” He wants to get on with their lives. Paris is the mind. This is the last thing she expected. She reminds Carter that he told her to marry someone else. Carter shouldn’t have done that and begs, “I need more than I can express.” Paris decides, “Let’s do it,” and throws herself into his arms. Paris screams that they are engaged and reminds him that they forgot to put on the ring. Carter rings on her finger, and she gives him a big, excited kiss. She is delighted with his excellent taste and exclaims: “Oh my God, I have a fiancé!” Carter is glad she likes the ring and wants to put it on Quinn’s finger. It is intended for the woman he would marry. Carter decides they shouldn’t wait and they should get married right away. Paris is stunned.
At Lee’s, she stutters and tries to pretend she didn’t call the police. Sheila said, “You had to lie to me! Make your little phone call. ” She kicks the remains of the phone on the floor and says, “And now you’re going to pay for it.” Lee warns her that without her Finn will not survive. She begs Sheila to put Finn first. Lee insists they can bring their son back together. Sheila shakes her head. “You’re lying. You don’t want me here.” She wanted to trust Leah, she wanted to believe that he thought Finn needed both of his mothers. Lee sneered, “The woman who shot him … almost killed him ?!” : “Let go … let’s go …” Sheila shouts that she loves her son more than she will ever know. floor and Lee comes out the door. Sheila yells, “You’re not going to run away from me!”
Lee gets in her car in the rain and Sheila follows her. Lee mutters, “No, no, no, no, no,” and runs away. That’s when Mike shows up. He got Sheila’s message. He grabs his keys and says, “I need your car!” Mike stares as she sets off in pursuit of Lee.
At Forrester Creations, Carter walks through the design office and tells himself that Paris will be a good woman when Quinn enters. “You made it? Did you ask? ” She begs, “Why?” Carter says that’s the way it should be. He can’t have her, and he can’t let Paris threaten her with marriage. “So that’s going to stop now.” He plans to be loyal to his wife. Carter wants to settle down and has a family. He will do anything to leave her behind. “I can’t live like this anymore. I love you too much. “
At Brooke’s, Ridge asks her to call him if anything happens and swears that he will do everything in his power to protect her. They hold hands as he walks.
In the rain, Lee drives in a panic. Realizing that Sheila is behind her, she screams, “Damn it, Sheila!” In her vehicle, Sheila swears that Li will not run away from her and murmurs that all she has to do is split Finn. “I will never be separated from my son again.” In his truck, Lee screams, “Repel you crazy!” There was a collision and the vehicle caught fire before falling over the barrier into the water. Sheila gets out of the car, looks at the sinking flaming truck and smiles contentedly.
