Lisa Aiken has been named executive fashion director at Vogue.com
Aiken, who recently spent a year as director of fashion and lifestyle at Neiman Marcus, is transferring her retail expertise to Vogue.com, where she will report directly to Anna Wintour. She will also work closely with Mark Pilipczuk, senior vice president of consumer revenue, as she moves into a trade-driven role. Aiken will oversee the trading strategy, editorial strategy and will be responsible for driving trade revenue growth, new ventures and innovation.

Chanel will show off Métiers D’art in Senegal
Chanel announced on Thursday that its Métiers d’art 2022/23 collection will be on display in Dakar, Senegal, on December 6th. After being shown earlier in Tokyo, New York, Shanghai and Edinburgh, among other locations, Chanel has decided to revive its past tradition travel. Singer and songwriter Troye Sivan officially enters the realm of beauty when she joins the YSL Beauty family. “YSL Beauty has long drawn inspiration from the world of music and the arts, singing to the beat of culture,” said Laetitia Raoust, U.S. CEO. “Sivan’s empowered youth and individuality inspires us to continue that journey.” The announcement comes during Pride Month, at a time when the brand says it aims to “encourage its community to manifest and celebrate what they are, louder than ever before – to never advocate for defining, defying or denying”.
