Australian bodybuilder, actor and former Mr Universe Calum von Moger is fighting for his life after falling from the second-floor window of a house.
The 31-year-old, who is in an induced coma, has undergone major surgery after severely injuring his spine in the May 6 incident in Australia.

Calum rose to fame after fans compared his physique to that of Arnold Schwarzenegger, earning him a role in the 2018 film Bigger – playing a young Arnold.
The fact Calum had been injured was reported by fellow bodybuilder Nick Trigilli on his YouTube channel, and confirmed by the bodybuilding publication Generation Iron.
Nick says his former colleague – a three-time Mr Universe winner with 3.2 million Instagram followers – is “going through a hard period in his life”.
Nick said in his YouTube video that Calum was injured “pretty bad” in the incident and had damaged his spine “to the point of, he couldn’t walk”.
“They had to call an ambulance and now he’s sedated in ICU,” he says, adding Calum is now fighting for his life.
Nick, a former IFBB Pro bodybuilder, says his friend recently suffered some “stupid injuries in the gym”.
In an update on May 8, Nick shared on his YouTube channel a photo of the window from which Calum is said to have fallen.
Calum was reportedly in the process of entering the IFBB Pro league for Classic Physique.
But due to injuries, including a serious bicep tear, Calum returned home to Australia, Generation Iron reported.
On March 30, Calum wrote a raw Instagram post, sharing his hope to “learn from [his] mistakes and become a better person ”.
“Everyone has a past. We’ve all been through hard times, ”he said.
“I admit, I messed up bad many times.
“But I don’t care about dwelling on negative thoughts of the past.
“All I care about is that I learn from my mistakes and become a better person.
“I’m trying my hardest to stay strong but I have my days too.”
Calum ended the post by asking for “forgiveness” so he “can keep moving forward on the right path again”.
Despite having earned his pro card in 2020, Calum was still to compete in any bodybuilding show.
