Aisling explained that without spare clothes, she was forced to borrow a bathrobe and slippers from the four-star Sunset Marquis Hotel.

During her appearance on the chat show, actor Sean, 51, asked her if she thought the interview was via Zoom as he glanced at her clothes.

“I wasn’t sure if you were going to notice, but I guess I have to work it out,” she said, seeing the funny side of the situation.

‘They lost my luggage! I traveled for 22 hours and I thought I would try to find something, but luckily, the hotel had this free dress that just lay in the bathroom. I was like, “I’ll wear it.”

Speaking about pairing white slippers with a dress, she said, ‘I wasn’t sure if I was going to go white with white, I thought,‘ Ah, I’m not getting married, ’but you know, the big thing, it’s Jimmy Kimmel, and they kind of like to they throw out my whites. ‘

Issuing a hilarious request to have her luggage returned, the witty woman said to the camera, ‘Please just bring her home to me. We miss you, we love you, don’t look in your back pocket. We want you to come home. ‘

After her appearance on the chat show, Aisling confirmed on Instagram that she was ‘reconnected’ with her suitcase, sharing her video of her hugging it.

She also ridiculed on her social networks the unfortunate incident that left viewers in a fist, sharing her recordings in the now legendary house dress.

One picture shows her posing behind the scenes, while the other shows her smiling alongside an amused Sean on set.

In addition to a series of recordings, she compared her inventive choice of clothes with Maria, who makes clothes for Captain Von Trapp’s seven children in The Sound of Music.

‘Thank you @ alexahernandez.xyz for the makeup and @giocampora for making me a hairstyle to finish my fashion look.

‘Also thanks to Tom and Lenny at @carasoin for giving me a wonderful facial treatment while I was a little stressful person and @lordham for the haircut.

‘And yell at my stylists – the reception and household team at @sunsetmarquis who lent me this (homemade) dress.’
