Since the spring-summer ’23 season at Milan Men’s Fashion Week is over and dusty, one trend stands above all: Next year will be something for everyone. As fashion continues to find its foothold (without a play on words) in the world after (and the current) pandemic, it seems that it is individuality that defines fashion for all genders.
The men’s season in Milan in the spring of the 23rd continued to push the shoe over the once ubiquitous fashion sneakers, although there is still room for an athletic element in every collection. For any season of warm weather in the recent past, slippery sandals can be expected. Elsewhere

Here’s a closer look at the top 10 shoes of the ’23 spring season. Milan Men’s Fashion Week.
1. Pradine Cuban heels with a western edge
The Italian fashion brand is known to set the tone for both styling and individual products, and both have made big statements for menswear in the spring of ’23. Prada continued to show off shorts with a black leather shoe, this time opting for a black leather boot with a Cuban heel and a slightly Western flair to fill the silhouette, reflecting the current trend of women’s footwear that is fast becoming more popular even as the peak of hot summer weather approaches. And while street stylists want to pair their black shoes with white socks, Miuccia and Raf are clearly saying here: black socks only with this look.

2. Fendi inflated slides
For all your experimenting with gender codes (cracked top suits! pearls! Mary Janes!), Fendi also knows that everyone will want a lightweight slip-on shoe during the summer. The brand has been offering one for a long time, but this time it took simple sandals and inflated it with its double F monogram for a shoe destined to be a hit by the pool.

3. JW Anderson’s mega hardware moccasins
The footwear designed by Jonathan Anderson for both his JW Anderson and Loewe lines are insignificant hits for more nuanced fashion followers, especially slip-on mules with recognizable large chain details. Anderson kept the big hardware trend for spring 23 with a series of moccasins with slides, made in primary shades with a unique silver metal plate that extends over the top.

4. 1017 Alyx 9SM Mono rubber boots
Whatever the trend of molded rubber boots has begun, recent debuts prove that there is still more than enough room to experiment with silhouette and material. Matthew Williams may have teased the new Nike collaboration in the ’23 spring collection for his 1017 Alyx 9SM label, but the designer Mono boots (upgrade from the Mono slide) were inevitably more interesting.
